A festoon cable is a specialized type of cable designed for application in festoon systems, which are commonly used in material handling and crane applications. Festoon systems consist of a series of trolleys or carriers that move along a track, supporting and guiding electrical cables and hoses to provide power and control to mobile equipment, such as cranes and hoists. Festoon cables are an important part of these systems, ensuring the continuous and reliable transmission of power and signals to moving machinery.
The cable's conductor is made under the VDE0295 Standard.
